The Austrian Federal Administrative Court held that recipient data need not be archived

In its judgment of 14 September 2026, the Austrian Federal Administrative Court held that a controller has no general obligation to retain information on specific recipients of disclosed data solely for the purposes of possible future requests under Article 15 GDPR.
